Personally I prefer the first method since I don’t have to install Template Manager on the target machines and the “.one” files can also be used with the OneNote web app. When you open up Template manager at the target machine the templates will be available.
Step 4: Install Template Manager on the target machines and copy the templates to “ Users\YourUserName\AppData\Roaming\OneNote Template Manager”.
